Virág Anna Virág's work is unique in its combination of intuition and conscious conception, classical tradition and constant experimentation, and the coexistence of different qualities and surfaces. Her works range from solo and chamber pieces based on classical traditions to experimental electronic pieces, film and theatre scores, and even trash rap songs. A mathematical problem or a social issue can be her inspiration, as can contemporary and avant-garde jazz or free improvisation. Virág Anna Virág was admitted to the Liszt Academy of Music, Budapest in 2020. She is currently studying Sonology, at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. Her works have been performed in Hungary (Liszt Academy, MÜPA, Budapest), the Netherlands, and in Serbia. She frequently collaborates with other artists. In 2023, she is working on an opera with librettist Mónica Maffia.
